Jacob’s Ladder provides families, children various and, and the professional community with a variety of highly specialized therapists and programs. From Astronaut training to Z vibe protocols, Jacob’s Ladders professionals utilize classic and cutting-edge techniques. The programs have included traditional services, intensives, aqua therapy, hippotherapy, and respite camps, to name a few.
Mariann and Noel Frigo founded Jacob’s Ladder after they could not find pediatric services for their son Jacob once he graduated from First Steps (Indiana’s Early Intervention program). With a passion for encouraging, educating, and empowering the families in the special needs community, Frigo’s started to provide therapy to 40 children. They have grown to assist nearly 1,000 children a week throughout NW Indiana.
Families currently served at Jacob’s Ladder travel from as far as Whiting, Lowell, DeMotte, Wheatfield, Walkerton, or New Carlisle to get their child the life-changing services provided at Jacob’s Ladder.
“The Healthy Living Campus initiative is a groundbreaking opportunity for the Duneland community, the Duneland YMCA, Jacob’s Ladder, and the other NFP partners. The plans to provide not only new space and new grounds but also new collaborative programming will be inspirational. As a model of what is achievable, the Healthy Living Campus will become the blue print for many.”
